Finger Jello - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large or 2 small pkg. jello
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in 1 1/4 cups cold water.
    Combine jello and sugar with 1 cup hot water in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour this mixture into gelatin mixture.
    Stir and add 1 cup cold water. Pour into 8 x 8-inch cake pan and cool.
    Chill in refrigerator. Cut into 1-inch cubes.
    If doubled, put in 9 x 13-inch pan.
