Southern Sugar Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. half and half
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients, then add the following: buttermilk, half and half, melted butter, beaten egg and vanilla.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Then at 350\u00b0 until slightly soft in middle, about 32 minutes.
    Sprinkle nutmeg on top before putting in the oven.
    This makes 2 pies.
