Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    5 c. water
    12 oz. thin noodles
    1 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. frozen broccoli, chopped
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    7 c. milk
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 small can mushrooms, sliced
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine margarine and onions; saute in soup pot.
    Add water and bring to boil.
    Add noodles and salt; boil 3 minutes.
    Add broccoli and garlic powder; boil 4 minutes.
    Add milk and cheese. Do not boil.
    Cook until cheese melts.
    Add mushrooms and pepper. Cook slowly for a few minutes.
    Serves 12.
