Chicken Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 C. uncooked rice
    1 fryer chicken, cut up
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 C. cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    2 C. milk
    salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
    In a greased 13x9 pan, spread the rice; place chicken pieces on top and sprinkle with soup mix. Combine the soup, salt, pepper and milk and pour over chicken.
    Bake at 300 degrees for 2 1/4 hours. Cover with foil for the first 1 1/4 hours.
