Pineapple Refrigerator Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 lb. vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Cream
    margarine
    well.
    Add sugar slowly and mix well. Drop in
    egg
    yolks
    and beat 1/2 hour.
    Add vanilla, nuts and pineapple.
    Arrange
    layer
    of
    crumbs in buttered pan, then a layer
    of
    fruit mixture and then crumbs, continuing until pan is filled.
    Top
    with crumbs.
    Refrigerate at least 24 hours. Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
