Chocolate Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    6 large eggs
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
    2 tsp. vanilla
    powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Beat softened butter or margarine 2 minutes, until creamy. Gradually add sugar; beat at medium speed for 5 to 7 minutes, until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until yellow disappears.
    Gradually add 1/4 of the flour at a time alternately with the sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
    Mix just until blended after each addition.
    Stir in flavoring. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl several times with spatula to mix batter.
    Spoon batter into a tube pan, greased and floured.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes, in center of oven.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional).
