Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small to medium onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. cooked Polish sausage cut into 1/2 inch pieces
    1 jar sauerkraut, 32 oz., drained
    3-3 1/2 c. potatoes, peeled and cut up
    1 c. apple juice
    1 unpeeled apple, medium, diced
    1 Tbsp. caraway seeds
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    3 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Add sausage, potatoes, sauerkraut, apple, and apple juice. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, caraway seed and flour. Stir into saucepan with above ingredients. Simmer from 30 to 40 minutes. Stir occasionally. Just before serving, put on crumbled bacon.
