Indian Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. softened butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. pumpkin
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1 c. blueberries (optional)
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    Set aside.
    Beat eggs, sugar and butter until smooth.
    Add pumpkin, milk and corn meal. Beat until smooth.
    With wooden spoon, stir in flour mixture, mixing until it just combines.
    Don't overstir.
    Gently stir in blueberries and nuts, if desired.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
