Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef (lean)
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    2 cans red kidney beans
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 bay leaf, broken
    2 Tbsp. dry red wine
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Cook onion and garlic in nonstick spray in nonstick pan until limp.
    Remove from pan.
    Cook ground beef until crumbly and brown in same pan.
    Drain.
    Place kidney beans in colander.
    Rinse with cool water.
    Add rinsed beans and all other ingredients to saucepan.
    Stir, cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Add water, if necessary.
    Serve with crackers or hot tortillas.
    Serves 4.
    Can be frozen.
    To reheat, place in baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
