1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. butter pecan cake mix*
2 Tbsp. water
2 c. chopped pecans
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. white sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Reserve 3/4 cup cake mix for second layer.
Set aside.
