Sauteed Chicken Strips Over Fettuccine With Cheese And Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. uncooked fettuccine
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt (if desired)
    2 tsp. fresh parsley, chopped
    dash of ground black pepper
    2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 tsp. minced garlic
Preparation
    Cut chicken breast halves into strips about 3/4 to 1-inch wide.
    Saute until lightly browned in olive oil and minced garlic. Remove from skillet, drain on paper towel and place in covered pan in slightly warm oven to maintain heat.
    Cook fettuccine as directed on package.
    Meanwhile, heat margarine and whipping cream in 1 1/2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until margarine is melted.
    Stir in cheese, salt and pepper.
    Drain fettuccine.
    Pour sauce over fettuccine; toss.
    Place serving of fettuccine on plate.
    Place slivers of sauteed chicken breasts decoratively atop fettuccine and sprinkle with parsley.
