Pudding Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3/4 oz.) pkg. instant pudding or 1 large box
    1 c. powdered sugar
    4 c. milk
    1 cake, baked in 9 x 13-inch pan
Preparation
    To baked, hot cake, poke holes through cake.
    Combine pudding with sugar.
    Stir in milk.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Do not overblend. Before pudding thickens, pour 1/2 of thin pudding evenly over warm cake into holes.
    Allow pudding to thicken slightly.
    Pour remaining 1/2 over cake.
    Cover and chill for 1 hour before serving.
    Store in refrigerator.
