Lemon Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix well the egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch and cold water and cook until thick.
    Then add lemon juice, margarine and salt. Cover and let cool.
    Pour into an 8 or 9-inch baked pie shell. Top with meringue if desired.
