Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. rapidly boiling water, seasoned with a heaping tsp. salt
    1 small chopped onion
    1 c. grits (preferably coarse ground grits)
    1 stick butter
    2 cloves fresh ground garlic
    1/2 lb. sharp, yellow cheese
    4 well beaten eggs
    milk
Preparation
    In boiling water, add onion and grits.
    Cook for 30 minutes. In a separate pan, melt together butter, garlic and cheese.
    To this, add
    eggs and enough milk to make one cup of liquid.
    Stir the liquid briskly into the grits; pour the grits into a buttered casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes or so at 350\u00b0.
    The end product will make you warble like a fat canary!
