Ranch Style Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew meat, browned in 2 Tbsp. oil
    4 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    dash of allspice
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Pour over browned meat and simmer for 2 hours.
    Add 6 small carrots, sliced and 3 or 4 potatoes, cubed.
    Continue cooking until carrots and potatoes are done.
    Make a small amount of flour and water paste and thicken juice to desired consistency.
