Strawberry Rhubarb-Pie - cooking recipe

your favorite pastry for 9-inch 2-crust pie
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
3 c. cut-up rhubarb
1 c. strawberries
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Mix sugar and flour.
Mix lightly through rhubarb and strawberries.
Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.
Dot with butter.
Cover with top crust with slits cut in it.
Seal and flute.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is nicely browned and juice begins to bubble through slits.
Cover edges with 1 1/2-inch strips of aluminum foil if crust is getting too brown.
