Pesto Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. fresh basil leaves, packed
4 garlic cloves
1/4 c. grated Italian cheese
1 c. fresh parsley, packed
1/4 c. pignoli nuts (pine)
1 c. olive oil
1 lb. linguine
Preparation

Place all ingredients, except linguine, in a blender; blend together using low speed with 1/2 cup oil.
Stop every few seconds to scrape the sides of the blender down until everything is evenly mixed.
Blend remaining 1/2 cup oil in a steady stream; blend to a smooth consistency.
