Dime A Dozen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar minus 3 Tbsp.
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix margarine and sugar.
    Add rest of ingredients and spoon small spoon-size drops onto cookie sheet.
    Flatten with a glass bottom dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 13 minutes.
