Sponge Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large island eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 capful vanilla extract
    1 c. + 2 Tbsp. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    vegetable shortening spray
    Cool Whip (8 oz.)
Preparation
    Sift flour, tartar, baking powder and baking soda well.
    Using electric mixer, beat eggs at top speed for 5 minutes.
    Add sugar a little at a time, then a capful of vanilla extract.
    Now add flour mixture a little at a time.
    Spray pans with vegetable shortening.
    Spoon mixture onto cookie sheets by 1/2 teaspoon drops.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until edges are light brown.
    Remove from pan immediately onto paper dusted with powdered sugar.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
    Sort by size and make sandwiches with Cool Whip filling.
