Strawberry Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1 lb. pound cake
    1 large pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    12 to 16 oz. whipped cream
Preparation
    Wash berries and cut in half.
    If not sweet, add a little sugar and set aside.
    Slice pound cake and place all around bottom and sides of large bowl.
    Mix pudding according to directions and mix with about 1/3 to 1/2 of whipping cream.
    Put 1/2 of pudding mixture on top of cake.
    Add berries.
    Put rest of pudding mixture on top.
    Finish by adding the last of whipped cream.
    Place a few whole berries on top for garnish.
