Cabbage, Apple And Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 lb.) cabbage
1 (20 oz.) can diced or chunky pineapple
2 Red Delicious apples, diced fine
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 qt. Miracle Whip dressing
1 small head lettuce
Preparation

Chop the cabbage medium;
sprinkle the lemon juice over the diced
apples
to
prevent
discoloration.
Combine
the pineapple,
cabbage,
salt,
the
cabbage and the apples.
Mix well
and add the salad dressing gradually, stirring until the salad is thoroughly mixed.
Serve on a lettuce leaf, or with a meal or as an appetizer.
Makes 3 to 5 pounds.
Serves 8 to 10 people.
