Bavarian Pot Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. pot roast
2 Tbsp. oil
1 1/4 c. water
3/4 c. beef broth or bouillon cube
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Brown roast in big pot.
Combine everything else in a separate pan and pour over meat.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer until meat is tender (all afternoon).
Take meat out. Thicken juices with cornstarch.
Serve over egg noodles.
