Beef And Cheese Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. lard
    4 to 5 Tbsp. ice water
    1/4 lb. chopped mushrooms
    1 small minced onion
    1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 tsp. dried dill weed
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    sour cream
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
    Cut in lard with a pastry blender until it forms coarse crumbs.
    Sprinkle with ice water 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring until dough clings together.
    Form into a smooth ball.
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
