Cheese-Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium carrots, sliced
    1 onion, minced
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. celery salt
    1/2 lb. American cheese, sliced
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook carrots, covered, in 1-inch of boiling salted water until tender.
    Drain.
