Seafoam Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can pears, drained
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 pkg. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Heat 1 cup pear juice to boiling.
    Add gelatin and stir to dissolve.
    Chill until slightly thickened.
    Stir mayonnaise into cream cheese with fork, blending until smooth.
    Add Cool Whip. Slowly stir into Jell-O mixture.
    Crush pears to pulp with fork and add to Jell-O.
    Chill until firm.
