Everlasting Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/3 c. lukewarm water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    2 c. lukewarm water or milk
    plain flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add salt, egg, warm water or milk and yeast mixture.
    Begin adding flour to make a stiff dough. Turn into a greased bowl and cover with cloth.
    When double in bulk, knead and roll out.
    Cut out and place on pans brushed with butter or margarine.
    Brush tops of rolls with butter.
    Let rise in a warm place.
    Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
