Macaroni Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    3 1/3 c. hot water
    pinch of garlic
    pinch of onion
    1 pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 pkg. uncooked macaroni
Preparation
    In a 10-inch skillet, brown the ground beef.
    When brown, drain all grease.
    After draining the grease, stir in uncooked macaroni, 3 1/3 cups of hot water, garlic, onion, Cheddar cheese and buttermilk.
    Heat to a boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, stirring occasionally; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Uncover and cook until desired consistency.
    Serves 5.
