Sweet And Sour Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. water
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice for syrup)
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 to 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 to 2 medium green peppers, cut in strips
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onion
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced thin
Preparation
    Make meatballs out of ground beef; fry and drain fat off.
    In small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Add pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, 1/2 cup water and salt.
    Cook until thick.
    Add meatballs and pineapple chunks, green peppers, onion and water chestnuts.
    Cook 3 to 4 minutes.
    Serve over rice with soy sauce.
