2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. oil
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. fig preserves with juice
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients and cooking oil and blend. Add eggs, vanilla, buttermilk, figs and pecans. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes in a 12 x 9 x 2 pan.
