Paul Harvey Wild Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. uncooked wild rice
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 medium onion, minced
    1 qt. milk
    2 cans cream of potato soup
    1 lb. Velveeta (or less)
Preparation
    Rinse and cook rice for 40 to 60 minutes.
    Saute onion and butter until tender.
    Add water, milk and soup.
    Add cheese and rice.
    Simmer until creamy.
