Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/3 c. boiling water
1 c. oats (quick cooking)
1 stick margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. plain flour *

Preparation

*Self-rising flour may be used, omitting salt and soda.
