Make-Ahead Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

2 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz.) pkg. herb seasoned croutons
1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) margarine
1 whole broiler-fryer chicken, cooked
1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook chicken in salted water until tender.
Remove skin; cut meat from bones.
Spread cooked broccoli in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Place chicken meat over broccoli.
Spread undiluted soup over the chicken.
Sprinkle cheese over soup.
Melt margarine in a pan over low heat.
Add croutons, turning until coated. Spread croutons over baking dish contents.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
Can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving time.
