Creamy Raisin Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped raisins
    1 c. mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
    Cook over low heat until thick and bubbly, stirring constantly.
    Stir in chopped pecans; let cool.
    Serve with Melba rounds or use as a sandwich spread.
