Jiffy Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow Jiffy cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 (3 oz.) vanilla instant pudding
    2 c. milk
    1 (No. 2) large can crushed pineapple, drained well
    1 large Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake per package directions in greased 9 x 13-inch pan for about 15 minutes.
    Cool.
    Mix pudding and 1 cup milk.
    Add softened cream cheese and gradually add other cup of milk.
    Spread over cake.
    Drain pineapple and spread over pudding layer.
    Then spread Cool Whip over top and garnish with maraschino cherries (red and green at Christmas) and nuts.
    Chill overnight.
