Tomato Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 large onion, chopped or sliced
    1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
Preparation
    Sift
    together
    the flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add milk and
    salad oil, stirring quickly and lightly until mixed. Do not beat.
    Saute
    onion.
    Add tomato juice.
    Bring mixture to a
    boil. Drop
    in dumplings and simmer 10 minutes with the lid off,
    then 10 minutes with the lid on.
    Serve dumplings in tomato and onion juice sauce.
