Nan'S Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    3/4 c. water
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cook sugar, corn syrup and water over low heat until sugar is dissolved; then cook without stirring to 255\u00b0 (hard-ball stage). Remove from heat and pour, beating constantly, in a fine stream into egg whites.
    Continue beating until mixture holds its shape and loses its gloss. Add
    vanilla and pecans.
    Drop quickly from tip of teaspoon onto waxed paper.
