Favorite Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (8 oz.) tomato sauce, divided (I use stewed tomatoes)
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 medium onion, minced
    1/4 c. cracker crumbs
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 1/2 tsp. salt (if desired)
    1/4 tsp. pepper (if desired)
Preparation
    In a small bowl, combine tomato sauce, brown sugar and mustard.
    Set aside.
    In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, onion, cracker crumbs, ground beef, salt and pepper.
    Add 1/2 cup of tomato sauce mixture and stir thoroughly.
    Place meat mixture in pan.
    Pour remaining tomato sauce over top of meat.
    Cook, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
