Woofer Wafers For Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. dry milk powder
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. honey
1 egg
1/2 to 3/4 c. beef or chicken bouillon

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients. Cut with pastry blender to resemble corn meal. Set aside.
In a bowl, beat honey with egg. Stir in dry ingredients. Gradually add enough bouillon to make a stiff dough. Remove dough to lightly wheat floured surface and knead until smooth and pliable.
Roll to 1/8 to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut and bake on cookie sheet in oven at 325\u00b0 for about 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
