Sweet Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. water
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 large cake yeast
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    flour to stiffen (about 6 c.)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Mix in all ingredients; cover and let double in size.
    Punch down and let double in size again. Make in shape of buns and let rise.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
