Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1 lemon rind, grated
Preparation
    Cream margarine, add salt and sugar, gradually and one egg at a time, beating well.
    Add lemon rind, milk, flour and baking powder.
    Pour into greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
    While loaf is still hot, spoon over bread the juice of one lemon and 1/2 c. sugar that has been brought to a boil enough to dissolve sugar.
    This is delicious! And the secret is in performing the last operation while everything is hot!
