French Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cut green beans
    1 can yellow wax beans
    1 can kidney beans
    3/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. olive oil
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 small white onion, sliced thin
Preparation
    Drain all beans thoroughly.
    Heat sugar, vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper and onion.
    Bring to boil;
    pour over beans. Stir and let stand overnight.
