Chocolate Chip Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    5 c. flour (approximately)
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a bowl, cream together the shortening and sugars. Add beaten eggs and blend.
    In second bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Add half of the dry mixture to creamed mixture.
    Stir in chocolate chips. Add rest of dry ingredients.
    Mix well. Form into small loaves and place in refrigerator overnight.
    Next day, slice and place on cookie sheets.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
