Rhubarb Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rhubarb, cut in small pieces
    3 Tbsp. water
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks (save whites)
    1 unbaked pie shell in 8-inch pan
Preparation
    Place rhubarb in unbaked pie shell.
    Mix water, egg yolk, sugar and flour together and pour over rhubarb.
    Dot with butter. Bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Crust should be golden brown and filling thickened.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and add 3 tablespoons sugar.
    Cover pie with meringue and bake at low temperature until golden.
