Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. thinly sliced squash
    2 large bell peppers, sliced thin
    4 medium onions, sliced thin
    1/2 c. salt
    cracked ice
Preparation
    Put squash, bell peppers and onions in a large container. Cover with salt and cracked ice.
    Let stand 3 hours; drain.
