Special Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients

vanilla wafers
1 stick margarine
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 box confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
cherry pie filling or your favorite
Cool Whip

Preparation

Line 13 x 9-inch oblong pan with vanilla wafers.
Mix remaining ingredients, except pie filling and Cool Whip.
Spread over vanilla wafers.
Cover with cherry pie filling.
Top with Cool Whip and chill overnight.
