Mary Meskauskas' Zesty Macaroni Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 finely chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 can tomato soup
    2 c. shredded mild processed cheese
    2 c. cooked macaroni
    2 Tbsp. buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    In pan, cook onion in butter until tender.
    Stir in soup, 1/2 cup water and 1 1/2 cups of cheese.
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole, mix sauce and macaroni.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until hot. Stir, then top with crumbs and remaining cheese.
    Bake until cheese melts.
