Quick Golden Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 1/2 c. peeled and diced potatoes
    1 medium onion, cut into chunks
    water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, defrosted
    2 c. cubed ham
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup (undiluted)
    8 oz. Cheddar or American cheese, shredded
    1 (16 oz.) can mixed vegetables
Preparation
    In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine carrots, potatoes, onion and just enough water to cover.
    Cook, covered, until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
    Add broccoli and ham; continue to cook 5 more minutes.
    Drain water.
    Stir in soup and cheese; heat through.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
