Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium-size head cabbage
    1 Tbsp. salt
    chopped celery, peppers or carrots if desired
    1 c. vinegar (white)
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Shred cabbage.
    Add salt.
    Let stand for 1 hour.
    Then squeeze out excess juice.
    If desired, use chopped celery, peppers or carrots.
