Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 sweet potatoes
    3 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1 orange
    1 lemon
Preparation
    Peel and quarter the potatoes.
    Cover potatoes with water and bring to a boil.
    Drain potatoes, reserving 1 cup liquid.
    Put a layer of potatoes in baking dish. Sprinkle on part of the sugar and dot with margarine.
    Repeat this until all ingredients are used.
    Slice the orange and lemon in thin slices.
    Pour reserved liquid over all.
    Cover and bake until syrupy.
    Uncover and bake until lightly browned.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
