Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineapple in juice
    1 - 6 oz. box gelatin, any flavor
    2 C. buttermilk
    1 - 8 oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed
    1 C. chopped nuts, optional
Preparation
    Combine pineapple and gelatin in saucepan and heat until gelatin melts, DO NOT BOIL. Cool slightly, add buttermilk and whipped topping. Combine well. Add nuts. Pour into a 9x13 pan. Chill until firm.
